Current Composition. For the first time players have new senators assigned. To be clear, Dignitas is the biggest contributing factor. This is not the type of game where you will sit in the bathhouse and say the right combination of compliments to make me feel good about myself to get yourself power and prestige. I want to see in game actions to increase your dignitas. Throw down money, flex your ballsack, build grand monuments in the name of Rome and vanquish the enemies of the Republic.
Also if you do something you think should earn dignitas, bring it up to my attention for consideration. I might say no, or give some points. As well, while governors get dignitas for being selected, Consuls dont get it for being elected. This is because Governors are not necessarily expected to do amazing things. Consuls are expected to do glorious things and come back with loot or do something else. In short, A governor has more guaranteed dignitas, but a Consul has a much higher ceiling.
Lastly, after the current legislation is over with, there will be some minor changes now that we are into the game further. Senate votes will now consider the weight of player votes according to the below chart. Its also more likely that NPC senators will vote according to their politics rather than rubber stamp what players do. To be clear, this doesnt mean they will overrule all of the players. It means if its a very close vote, I am going to analyze the text of the motion and more realistically decide who wins based on the political makeup of the NPCs.
