Consul Gaius Claudius Nero, seated beside his co-Consul Gnaeus Domitius Corbulo, rises to address the Senate.
Conscript Fathers,
It is with great honour that I open this Curia session for you all today. The first matter of discussion will be on the governors of the provinces. After much debate, both myself, and my co-Consul have come to an agreement on the following list of candidates from those Senators that proclaimed their intention of running for governor. We personally feel that these men have demonstrated the virtues necessary to govern the provinces this year, however I open the floor to debate on the following list of candidates:
Hispania Citerior - Allectus Fabius Maximus
Hispania Ulterior - Gaius Cassius Vecellinus
Sardinia Et Corsica - Amulius Valerius Marius
Sicily - Proculus Lucius Regulus
Allectus stands to speak. He adjusts his toga a bit before addressing the Senate
Good and Honorable Conscript Father, I have no real concerns with the appointment of governors for this year. Better to pass this quickly so we can move on to more pressing matters.
Allecto
Senator - Patrician
Naval Legate - Laconian War 194
Propraetor of Hispania Citerior 193
Noting the lack of debate on the topic, Senator Nero rises up to address the Senate.
As there is not much debate on this matter, I will move this session on. The list of governors as shown will be open to a vote.
Hispania Citerior - Allectus Fabius Maximus
Hispania Ulterior - Gaius Cassius Vecellinus
Sardinia Et Corsica - Amulius Valerius Marius
Sicily - Proculus Lucius Regulus
