Re: Curia Session I - 193 BC
The proxy for Senator M. Silvius Pastor rises to speak.
Esteemed Brethren,
The report from the Province of Sicily is straightforward, for Sicily remains peaceful and prosperous. Under the administration of the Propraetor, Senator Marcus Silvius Pastor, there have been three main projects. First, the Propraetor constructed a Theatre - re-dedicated to Roman Veterans - to supplement the public works built by previous Governors. Second, a vast colonization survey was undertaken. Comprehensive plans for future coloniae ranging from 1,500 - 10,000 Veterans and their families have been drawn up in duplicate for officials in Rome and Sicily to utilize at their disposal. Lastly, abandoned and/or derelict properties were acquired by the State and transformed into profitable enterprises, increasing the revenues available to future Governors.
I yield the floor.

Re: Curia Session I - 193 BC
Conscript fathers,
Given the lack of opposition to my proposal and the colossal size of my co-Consul's victory, I move that we vote on a formal motion without further debate.
For the following motion:
Quí hoc cénsétis, illuc tránsite; quí alia omnia, in hanc partem. (Whoever thinks this, go over there; whoever thinks anything else, to this part.)
May the will of the Senate be known to all.
