Consul Aurelius Cotta has devastated the slave revolt. In addition to the slaves slaughtered in open combat, 1500 Slaves who were captured are now said to line the countryside, some having been impaled for viewing, other crucified, and more had all of their limbs cut off and rolled down a hill for soldiers to try to race to the bottom. The gods shall truly shine upon this Consul and Rome for his deeds.
