A proxy for AFM stands to speak.

We find the motion and amendment to be acceptable and it has our support in its entirety.

2 points of clarification for the good Consul A. Cotta.

First, the 4 consular legions have already been funded as per the report of the Quaestors in the Temple of Saturn. We would be paying double for them in this case. (OOC: See Temple of Saturn thread.)

Second, since the term of the Censor ends in September, will Censor C. Vecellinus continue to oversee the works or will another be assigned in his place?

Excellent point on the first. (Ooc: clarified that those are indeed already “approved” expenses, will amend)

The appointment would have the Censor oversee this for the year, so that he might begin his duties for six months and finish them out for the year, unless there are objections.

The proxy of senator Caesonius Tacitus would speak.

I'd like to offer a small amendment:
100,000 Denarii shall be allocated to the Aediles for the running of games for the year.
