Conflict of Orders

The Game should open with a senate session.

The Senate must decide the following before the game can truly begin


1.) Governors must be assigned to the provinces. The senate may also decide length of term.
2.) The Senate must decide how many Legions will be raised above the standard 4.
3.) The Senate must decide who will command the Legions, and for what purposes. They can be doled out effectively any way the Senate wishes. Any player may be made Propraetor and given an army.
4.) The Senate must decide on any additional taxes or reduction of existing taxation.
5.) The Consuls may lay out any agendas
6.) Its typical for one of the consuls to be sent with his legions to Cisalpine Gaul to campaign. Alternatively a proconsul could be selected for this

The Player consul may start the first Senate session by posting a new thread for it and laying out his agenda. All other business outside the Senate may begin.
